Leeds, York, Nottingham.
Travis and his friend Darin popped over from Italy for the weekend. They headed up to Leeds for the weekend.... which topped it off for my last weekend in England!
We made it over to York, then to get Travis home .. down to Nottingham! About as much as you can pack into one weekend, especially since Travis and Darin spent their first night in London.

Scotland
We went for the Fringe...
The Fringe story began in 1947, when the Edinburgh International Festival was launched. It was seen as a post-war initiative to re-unite Europe through culture, and was so successful that it inspired more performers than there was room for.
Made up of Comedy, we did catch a show - Omid Djalili, he was quite funny - British-Iranian actor/comedian.
I always take so many photos, so I broke Scotland up into two slideshows.

Weekend in Wales
Weekend of the 9th and 10th, Leisha and I drove to Aberystwyth,
Wales to visit her sister (they are Australian) - anyway, it
was a gorgeous yet rainy drive, but fun. We made it to a tiny
cottage for the night where we stayed with Kerryn's new family.

York
Day trip to York! Sunday August 3rd, we hopped on the
train and headed to York. Such a cute beautiful town.
The North's spiritual capital for 2000 years, York is central to
Britain's colourful history.
Great markets and beautiful streets.
